Mr Stoughton Added to the Committee to Inspect into the former
proceedings of this House relating to passing of Bills.
The House Adjourns untill 2 of the Clock in the afternoon.
Post Merediem. The House met According to adjournment. A
Supplementary Act to the Act Entituled an Act to Encourage Ad-
venturers in Iron Works and to prevent abuses under the Said Act
Committed read first time and ordered to Lye on the Table.
The Bill Entituled an Act for the Releif of Isaac Tunny &c Read
the Second time and will pass.
The Bill Entituled an Act to prevent the false packing of Tobacco
read Second Time passed.
On Reading the Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act
Entituled an Act for Emitting and makeing Current Ninety Thou-
sand pounds Current Money of Maryland in Bills of Credit and to
restrain some Evil Practices of Sherriffs under Colour of the Said
Act Committed.
The Question was put that the said Bill pass resolved in the
Affirmative
