Report
At a Committee of both houses appointed to inspect the Office and

liam Rogers Clerk
Yeur Committee having in the most careful manner inspected the
State of the Office for emitting the Paper money and the Accounts
of the Commrs or Trustees find both in good Order and that nothing
appears to the contrary but that the said Commrs have faithfully dis-
charged the Trust reposed in them

p. 50

They further find that there has been lately remitted from Eng-
land seven Books of blank Bills in order to renew & make good the
torn and defaced Bills which Books appear to be perfect, but are not
yet examined by the Commrs and are said to amount to three thou-
sand four hundred thirty seven pounds ten shillings
They likewise find it necessary for the Ease and Dispatch of Com-
mittees hereafter to be appointed for this Purpose, as well as the
Commrs themselves, that a Particular Account be kept of the Profit
and Loss on Loans in the said Office, which the Majority of the
Trustees are willing to perform
They further find that although a greater Sum of money has been
transmitted to the Justices of the several Counties, than was de-
manded from them by the Inhabitants for the Taxables in the said
Counties, yet there has not been any Money returned by the said
Justices
