Counties where they have arisen or shall arise the Continuance of
Causes in the Provincial Court and Adjournment of that Court, &
for continuing the same; and passed a Clause being inserted allowing
the Itinerant Judges seven thousand pounds of Tobo Each to be paid
in Money according to the Direction of the Act of Assembly En-
tituled an Act emitting and making Current ninety thousand pounds
Current Money of Maryland in Bills of Credit for going Each Cir-
cuit; sent by George Plater Esqr
Read the Petition of Richard Standforth a languishing Prisoner
in Charles County Goal, and of Isaac Tunney a languishing Prisoner
in Talbot County Goal; referred to the Consideration of the Lower
house of Assembly & sent by Michl Howard Esqr
Adjourned 'till to Morrow Morning nine of the Clock

Read the Petition of Aaron Rawlings praying Leave to bring in
a Bill to supply the Want of Acknowledging and recording a Deed
from James Carrol deceased to the Petitioner for a Tract of Land
called Forest farm; Rejected
Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Act for the building a
Court house and Repository for the Records in Leonard Town in
St Marys County; passed, the Words, not exceeding fifteen hun-
dred pounds, between Buildings, and, to, in the last Line but two,
being inserted; sent by George Plater Esqr
Adjourned 'till two of the Clock in the Afternoon

Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Act reviving and
continuing an Act of Assembly of this Province Entituled an Act for
the better Relief of poor Debtors; passed with the following Pro-
visoe; Provided that this Act or the Act hereby intended to be
revived shall not extend nor be construed to extend to exempt any
Person or Persons whatsoever from the Payment of his Lordships
Quit Rents Alienation fines, or other Dues and Duties payable to his
Lordship the Lord Proprietary or his Governour for the time being
for his or their sole Benefit in any Specie or Manner to which such
Person or Persons would have been lyable if this Act had never
been made
