A Message from the Lower house by Mr Dulany & Others
By the Lower house of Assembly 22 March 1735
May it please Your Honours
This house being of Opinion that the Importation of Lisbon Salt
directly into this Province would be of great Advantage to the In-
habitants thereof, and that the most probable Method to obtain that
Liberty would be for his Excellency the Governour and both Houses
to address the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary for his In-
terest and Assistance to the Parliament for that Purpose; if your
Honours are of the same Opinion we hope you will joyn with Us,
as well in applying to the Governour for his Concurrrence with both
Houses, as in the Address it self
Signed p Order M Macnemara Cl Lo Ho.
His Excellency is pleased to communicate his Answer to the Ad-
dress of this house in the following Words
Gentlemen of the Upper house of Assembly
I return you my hearty thanks for your kind Address; Nothing
