that Slaves & several Other things shall be kept & Delivered in Specie
to the Children of Intestates which may be the foundation of Dis-
putes between the sd Minors (when they Attain their full Age) &
the Executors should they Proceed According to the Testament
which Disputes the said Executors are Desirous to Avoid & Pray
An Act of Assembly to be past for that Purpose Which is the more
Reasonable to be Granted in regard the sd Executors in their Pe-
tition aforesd have Sett forth that they do not Intend to make any
Profit or Advantage to themselves for Executing the sd Testament
which the Laws of this Province Would intitle them to But are
Willing to undergo the Burthen thereof for the Sole & only benefit
of the sd Minors & Whereas the Present General Assembly is of
Opinion that the Sale of the Personal Estate of the sd Minors &
Putting out the Money thereby Ariseing upon Interest will be very
Advantageous to them Be it therefore Enacted by the Right
Honourable the Lord Proprietary by & with the Advice & Con-
sent of his Lordships Governour & the upper & Lower Houses of
Assembly & by the Authority of the Same that it shall & may be
Lawfull for the sd Benjamin Tasker George Plater & Onorio Roso-
lini or any two of them as Executors of the Testament aforesaid &
Administrators of the Goods & Chatties of the sd Charles Calvert
not Administred by the sd Rebecca Calvert the Testatrix & by
Virtue of this Act to Sell & Dispose of all & Singular the Personal
Estate of the said Minors of Every Kind & Quality for the best &
highest Prices that Can be Gott for the Same According to the
Testament of the sd Rebecca Calvert & to put the money arising by
such Sale upon Interest for the best Advantage of the sd Minors &
that the sd Benjamin Tasker George Plater & Onorio Rosolini their
heirs Executors & Administrators shall be by Virtue of this Act
Saved & kept harmless & Indemnified for Duely & faithfully Exe-
cuting the Trust in Them reposed in & by the Last Will & Testa-
ment of the sd Rebecca Calvert According to the True Intent &
meaning thereof Any Law Usage or Custom to the Contrary not-
withstanding Saving to his most Sacred Majesty his heirs & Suc-
cessors to the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his heirs
& Successors & to all Bodys Politick & Corporate & to all Others not
mentioned in this Act their Several & Respective Rights.
