Col Ward from the Committee Appointed to View the Arms
and Ammunition &c. Makes the following Report.
By the Committee Appointed by the Honourable the Lower House
of Assembly to Veiw the Arms and Ammunition Now in the City of
Annapolis belonging to the Province of Maryland and to make Re-
port to the said House of the Quantity and Condition thereof and
what Sum or Sums of Money is now in the Bank for that use.
We Your Committee pursuant to the said Order have accordingly
Veiwed the said Arms and Ammunition and find them to be as to
Condition Number and Quantity as p an Account thereof taken
and hereunto Annexed may appear As Also Upon Inspection into
the Accounts of the Treasurers now before Us of the Three Pence
p Hogshead of Tobacco for purchasing of Arms & Ammunition find
that there is a Ballance now in the Hands of Mr Samuel Hyde
Merchant in London Amounting to One Thousand One Hundred
Sixty three Pounds Sixteen Shillings and four pence as also Twenty
One Pounds Eighteen Shillings and four pence farthing the Bal-
lance of a protested Bill of Exchange now in the Hands of Samuel
Young Esqr to receive Due to the Province aforesaid.
