Acts

County Courts where such psons inhabite to enquire into the Con-
sideracon of such psons soe Indenting & Covenanting As af^d, And
if they find the s^d Coven^ts are not upon good & valuable Considera-
cons but meerly to Colour their Cohabiteing to take Security for
p^rvencon of their future Comorancy As in their direccon they shall
see fitt, And upon refusall of such psons giveing such Security to be
required of them by the Justices af^d It shall and may be lawfull for
the s^d Justices to Comitt and such pson or psons soe refuseing As
af^d to the County Coale untill they give the securityes demanded
by the Justices As af^d any Law statute Use or Custome to the Con-
trary notwithstanding.

A Supplementary Act to the Act for Stay of Execucon after the
Tenth of May Yearly

Whereas the Act of Assembly of this Province for Stay of Ex-
ecuccons after the Tenth day of May yearly now in force has not
provided a Convenient Method for the Superceedeing such Execu-
cons As Issue out of the Provinciall Court.
Be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majesty by and with
the Advice & Consent of her Majestys Presid^t Councill and Assembly
of this Province and the Authority of the same That the Presid^t or
Two Justices of any County Court within this Province may proceed
to the staying or superceeding the Execution of any Judgm^t rendred
or to be rendred in the Provinciall Court As fully & Effectually to all
Intents Construccons & purposes As any Justice of the Provinciall
Court by vertue of the said Act for stay of Execucon after the
Tenth of May Yearly might or ought to doe.

An Act for the paym^t & Assessm^t of the publick Charge of this
Province

Whereas there has been Three Hundred Ninety Two Thousand
Ninety four pounds of Tobacco And Three Hundred Ninety four
pounds Sixteen Shillings and Six pence in Mony laid out and Ex-
pended for the publick service of this Province to the fifteenth day of
November this p^rsent Yeare Seventeen Hundred and Twelve To the
Intent the same may be satisfied and paid to whome the same is due As
by the Journall of the Comittee for laying the publick Levy and Lists
for paym^t thereof thereto Annext appears.
Be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majesty by and with
the Advice and Consent of her Maj^tys Presid^t Councill and Assembly
of this province and the Authority of the same That the s^d sume of
Three Hundred Ninety four pounds Sixteen Shillings & Six pence
in money be Satisfied and paid to whome the same is due out of the
publick stock raised and lodged in the publick Treasurers hands of
this province And that the aforesaid Sume of Three Hundred ninety
