Ordered that the Petition of Thomas Cannor of Dorchester
County be heard at the Bar of this House on Friday next.
The House Adjourns untill Monday Morning at Eight of the
Clock.

The House met according to Adjournment. The Members were
Called and all Present as on Saturday. The Proceedings of Saturday
were read.
The Question being put Whether the House should proceed first
to Consider of a Tobacco Bill or a bill to Limit Officers fees.
Resolved that the House proceed first to Consider of a Tobacco Bill

page 10.] Was Sent to the Upper House by James Harris Esqr and
Majr Hanson Who return and say they Delivered the Same.
Phillip Lee Esqr from the Upper House delivered to Mr Speaker
the following Message. [The text of this message is printed at

Collo Greenfield Mr Dulany Majr Harris Mr Jennings Mr Samuel
Hanson and Mr Key are Appointed to join Philemon Lloyd Esqr
Coll. Tilghman and Phillip Lee Esqr appointed by the Upper House
as a Committee to Consider of a Tobacco Law.
The House Adjourns untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon
