Read and Assented to Except that Article of 525 pounds of To-
bacco to Mr Gibson for being Clerk to the Committee for Inspecting
the Records, it appearing to this House that Mr Denton hath Satisfied
the said Mr Gibson for the same

An Engrossed Bill from the Lower House by Mr Hemsley En-
tituled A Supplementary Act to the Act Entituled An Act for the
Establishment of Religious Worship in this Province according to the
Church of England and for the maintenance of Ministers being
Read is Ordered to be thus Subscribed.

Gentlemen
On Reading the Report of the Comittee of both Houses for Inspec-
tion of the Records of the Commissarys and Secretarys Offices and
having heard the Allegations of Mr Denton and Mr Beckingham in
their Justifications, this House is of Opinion that the said William
Beckingham enter into Recognizance before some one of His Lord-
ships Justices of the Provincial Court in the sum of Fifty pounds to
be and appear before next Provincial Court to Answer all such things
as shall be then and there Objected against him and in the mean
time that he be of good behaviour, and that upon his so doing lie be
discharged from the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, and
that Mr Denton defray the Charges of a private Bill passed this
Session for recording a Deed from Mr Vanbebber to Mr Bordley and
