The House met according to Adjournment, The Members were

The Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town on a Creek
Divided on the East from the Town lately laid out in Baltemore
County read and with the Amendments proposed passed for In-
grossing.
Mr Dulany brought in a Bill Entituled an Act to Encourage
Adventurers in Iron Works which was read the first and second
time by an Especial Order and passed. Sent to the Upper House by
Mr Warfeild and Mr Hamilton, They return and say they Delivered
the same.
Collo Tilghman and George Plater Esqr from the Upper House
Delivered Mr Speaker the bill Entituled an Act for laying an Im-
position on Tobacco by the Hogshead "f or the Support of Government
&ca Indorsed thus;
