This House met again According to Adjournment
Present as Yesterday except Col. Ward.
Read the Petition of Sabrett Sellers of Calvert County and rejected
the Petr not having complyed with a Resolution of this House made
last Session of Assembly.
Read the Petition of Amos Woodward praying that an Allowance
may be made him for his Vessell performing Quarentine; Referred
to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly
Sent by Col Tilghman.
Adjourned till Two of the Clock in the afternoon

This House met again According to Adjournment
Present as in the Morning except Philip Lee Esqr
Col. Tilghman from the Conferrence of both Houses Appointed
in Relation to a Judges Oath makes the following Report Viz.

At a Conferrence held at the House of John Lomas in Annapolis
22d July 1732

Your Conferees Agree to the Oath hereunto Annexed as the proper
Oath of Judge or Justice to be taken within this Province by the
severall Majestrates therein and Submit the same to the Considera-
tion of both Houses.

You shall swear that as a Justice of the Provincial Court of Mary-
land in all Articles of his Lordship's Commission to you directed you
shall do equal Law and Right to all the Kings Subjects Rich and
Poor according to the Laws Customs & directions of the Acts of
Assembly of this Province so far forth as they provide and where
they are Silent According to the Laws Statutes and Reasonable Cus-
toms of England as used and Practised within this Province and not
delay any person of Common right for any Cause or pretence what-
soever And in Case any Letters or other Commandments shall
