The Petition of John Clerk a Languishing Prisoner in Talbot
County Gaol was read and Granted.
The Bill Entituled an Act for the Releif of Richard Smith was
read the first and second time by an Especial Order and Passed and
sent to the Upper House by Coll. Belt and Six more. Who return
& say they Delivered the Same.
The Bill Entituled an Act for reviving an Act of Assembly En-
tituled an Act for releiving the Inhabitants of this Province from
some Aggreivances in the Pro'secutions of Suits at Law &c^a
The Bill Entituled an Act for reviving an Act of Assembly En-
tituled an Act for the Advancement of Justice &c^a
And the Bill Entituled an Act for the Assessment of thirty thou-
sand pounds of Tobacco on the Inhabitants of S^t Pauls parish in
Baltemore County, were Severally read & Passed for Ingrossing
A Bill Entituled an Act to Supply some Defects in a Deed of Bar-
gain & Sale from Edward Mitchell of Kent County Gentleman to
John Ward of Cecil County Gentleman and from the said Ward to
William Ennalls of Dorchester County Gentleman of a Peice of
Land called the Ponds lying in Kent County aforesaid was read the
first and second time by an Especial Order and Passed. And sent
to the Upper House by M^r Kennard and Cap" Blackistone, Who
return and say they Delivered the same
Daniel Dulany Esq^r appeared in the House this Morning.
Ordered that a Bill be brought in to Ascertain the Value of Several
Coins
