Blackiston.

By the lower House of Assembly September 3d 1731.

May it please Yor Honours.
This House hath resolved to discharge the Expence of this As-
sembly from Tuesday last in Cash at the rate of Ten shillings for
every Hundred pounds of Tobacco due, and desireth your Honours
Concurrence

The following Message being prepared is sent to the lower House

By the Upper House of Assembly 3d September 1731.
Gentlemen.
This House hath Nominated John Rousby Benjamin Tasker &
Philip Lee Esqrs to Joyn the Members Appointed by Your House
in a Committee to prepare an Address to his Excellency the Gov-
erneur as proposed by your Message of Ist Instant by Major King
& Col Ennals who are ready to Attend Imediately

This House doth Agree to the allowance to be made to the

Message of this day by Col Herman & Mr Blackiston.
