This House met again According to Adjournmt
Present as Yesterday
His Excellency the Governeur Lays before this House a Petition
of Mr Amos Woodward Merchant Together with a Deposition of
John West Master & Edward Lloyd Mate of the Snow Charming
Molly; which were sent to the lower House with the following Mes-
sage by John Rousby Esqr

By the Upper House of Assembly 27th July 1731.
Gentlemen.
His Excellency having laid before this House a petition of Mr
Amos Woodward of the City of Annapolis Together with a Deposi-
tion of John West Master & Edward Lloyd Mate of the Snow Charm-
ing Molly for Our Consideration which petition and Deposition we
herewith send you; And this House being Enduced to beleive that
the Danger from the sd Vessells unloading her Cargoe is not what it
was at first Apprehended desire your House will Joyne with us in
Requesting the Governour to Licence the Master to Deliver the
Lading of the said Vessell.

Read the first time the bill Entituled an Act .f or Regulating of
Ordinarys & for the better regulating of Ordinary keepers & Inn-
holders within this Province for the future and Ordered to lye on the
Table.
Read the first time the Bill Entituled an Act to Record a Deed of
Bargain and Sale from James Gould & Elizabeth his wife to William
Scott and Sarah his wife and Ordered to lye on the Table.
