A Bill from the lower House by Mr Magruder and Mr Sprigg
Entituled an Act to Encourage the making of Linnen Cloth within
this Province of Flax or Hemp of the Growth thereof, thus Endorsed.

By the Lower House of Assembly 17th July 1731

Read the second time and will Pass.

Table.
Read the second time the bill Entituled an Act Impowering the
Justices of Calvert County to Levy on the Taxable persons of that
County any Sume of Tobacco not Exceeding Ten Thousand pounds
of Tobacco to pay for the finishing the Court house of the said
County and will pass, and ordered to be so Endorsed.
Sent to the Lower House by Phillip Lee Esqr
Read the second time the bill Entituled An Act for the continuance
of Process in Baltemore County Court, and will pass and ordered
to be so Endorsed.
Sent to the Lower House by Benjamin Tasker Esqr
Adjourned till Two of the Clock in the afternoon
