392 Assembly Proceedings, October 6-November 6, 1725.

House shall appoint at the House of Mr Fran: Bowes on the

Subject of the Late address to his Most Sacred Majesty and
the great Damage we Suffer by the Importation of Convicts,
but as to any other Matters that you hint at in your Message
we think it Improper to Enter into a Conference thereupon
not knowing the Subject Matter thereof Especially Consider-
ing the Sessions so near a Conclusion.

Thereupon Mr Stoddart Collo Mackall, Mr Bordley and
Collo Greenfield are appointed to join the Gentlemen ap-
pointed by the upper house.
And the following Message is prepared thereto

By the Lower House of Assembly.

Novemr the 2d 1725
May it please Your Honours.
This House have Appointed James Stoddart John Mackall
and Tho: Bordley Esqr and Collo Tho: Truman Greenfield
Members thereof to join Philemon Lloyd Esqr and Collo
Richard Tilghman in a Conferrence who are Ready to attend
at the place proposed in your Message on that head

Which was sent to the Upper House by Mr Stoddart and
Collo Mackall. They Return and Say they delivered it.
John Hall Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker
the paper Bill for Relieving the Inhabitants &c: thus Endorst
viz.
