Engrdst bills, which seems to us to be entirely new. The
method we proposed to yor Honrs was according to the practice
constantly Used till Aprill 1715 at which time we find the
practice was first altered but for what Causes does not Ap-
pear. We Conceive it [to] have been a thing past by as of
little Consequence But for that we cannot be sure of Avoid-
ing Inconveniences by such an Innovation in our Parliamen-
tary practice used both in the time of his Lordships Ancestors
and all the time of the Crowns Government we Entreat
yor Honrs not to Enter into debates with us concerning it.
As to his Honr the Govern" perusal of Such Bills we can not
but presume him sufficiently apprized of them by their being
Debated in your House where he presides We therefore pray
your Honrs not to oppose the Renovation of so long Estab-
lisht A Parliamentary Practice Amongst us
