Gent.
This House concurrs with you in your Message this day
by Capt Harrison and Mr Hopkins relating to the repairs of
the Stadt house, so that proper workmen may be treated with
accordingly

Speaker The Representation of Some of the Clergy now in
Town Thus Endorst Viz.

Read and referr'd to the consideracon of the Lower House
of Assembly
Sign'd p order Samll Skippon Cl. Up. Ho.

A Bill to relieve the Inhabitants of this province in paying
their Levies officers ffees and other Countrey Debts this year
was read the first time and ordered to lie on the Table.
The House Adjourns till to morrow morning nine of the
Clock

Fryday October the 23d 1724
The House meets according to Adjournment
Yesterdays proceedings are Read.
The Supplementary Bill to the Act for relief of poor
Debtors and Ascertaining the Manner of Tenders of Tobacco
brought in from the Committee of Laws Amended was read,
and past.
And Sent to the Upper House by Mr Warfield and Capt
Hooper. They return and Say they delivered it.
Collo Tilghman from the Upper House Delivers Mr
Speaker the following message Viz.

Gentlemen.
It is strange to us that it should be evident that an Ample
provision is made for defraying the Charge of the Council-
