Members
of the
Upper
House.

The Report of the Committee appointed by the Upper and
Lower Houses of Assembly to Agree with proper Workmen
for securing the Provincial Library was made to this House
by Colo Thos Addison one of the members thereof & is as
follows (viz.)

At a Committee appointed by the Upper and Lower Houses
&c.
Present

The Honourable Colo Thos Addison of the Upper House
of Assembly & Colo John Ward, Capt Justinian Jordan Capt.
Henry Hooper of the Lower House

The said Committee Agrees with John Smith of Annapolis
Joyner to fix cases in the Conference Chamber for the Pres-
ervation of the Provincial Library with strong Shelves and
partitions at Convenient Distances with six large Sash Doors
which Cases are to begin at the Back of the door of the said


Chamber and to be Continued to the Window on the West
Side of the Room and from the said window to the Closet
Door on the same Side of the Room to be the full height of the
Room and fifteen or Sixteen Inches in Breadth from the
Wainscot, to be fill'd wth pannels of good wainscot as high
as the Surbase of the Room, and all Above that height to be
well sash'd with Glass to find three good hinges two Plate
Bolts, and one good Lock and Key to each Door and all other
materials necessary for Compleating the said Work (Sash
Glass only excepted) which work the said Smith promises
Compleatly to finish by Christmas next according to the Direc-
tion and approbation of the Reverend Samuel Skippon
For which we have Agreed that the said Smith shall have
paid him by the Treasurer of the Western Shoar the sum of
seventeen pounds ten Shillings Current money.
