On reading the Tobacco Law,
The Question was put whether the fine on Freighters Ship-
ping Tobacco without Swearing to it or having it View'd shal-
be Six hundred pounds of Tobacco or not? Carried in the
Negative.
Then the Question was put whether the fine shalbe four
hundred or not.
Carried in the Affirmative.
A Supplementary Bill [to the Act to prevent makeing
trashey Tobacco was read the first time and Ordered to Lye
on the table.
An Engrost bill] for Continuing Process in Baltemore
County Court, was read and Assented [to] and was so endorst
and sent to the upper house by Mr Tolley and Mr Hamilton.
They return and say they Delivered it.
The House Adjourns till to Morrow Morning Nine of the
Clock.
