Joseph Merely Appears on the Land Records as alledged

in the Peticon.

Wee find an Attested Copy of a release from Gray to Richd
Deavour which recites a Conveyance from the said Joseph
Merely to the said Richd Deavour for the Two hundred and
Twenty five acres of Land Menconed in the Petition.
And upon the back of the said release the following Assigne-
ment.

Memorandum that this Copy of the release of John Gray
to Richard Deavour was Sealed and Delivered Assigned and
Set Over to John Wilson of Herring Creek in Ann Arundell
County in the Province of Maryland his Heirs and Assignes
for ever.
In Wittness whereof the said Rd Deavour hath hereunto
Set his hand and Scale the one and thirtieth Day of January
in the year of Our Lord God 1675

And humbly Submit the Consideration of the above to the
House

Thereupon Ordered that the Peticoner give Notice to the
heirs of Deavour (if any there be) to Appear next Sessions
if they think fit and then make their Objections against bring-
ing in a Bill On the behalf of the peticoner which was [so] En-
dorst.
On reading the Peticon of William Brimer and the Provl
Courts Representacon thereon
Resolved that any Provl or County Justice take his own
Single Recognizance in any reasonable Sume for his good
behaviour &ca and Discharge him from Prison thereon he
paying ffees.
On Reading Yesterday's Endorsment from the Uppr
House on the Bill for Encouragement of Tillage &ca Resolved
that the follo Message be prepared Viz.

By the Lowr House of Assembly 8ber the 18th 1722.

May it Please Yr Honrs
This House is willing to Decline any thing relating to the
Manner of Tenders and the prices as Proposed in the Bill
