366 Assembly Proceedings, October 9-November 3, 1722.

It being put to the Vote whether Majr Sewall should have

thirty Thousand Pounds of Tobacco in Consideration of Six
hundred Acres of Land included within the Indians' Bounds,
as proposed by a message from the Lower House the 25th
Instant brought up by Mr Benja Mackall and Mr Hooper or a
less Sum Votes were equal; for allowing that Sum Col Hol-
land Philemon Lloyd Esqr and James Bowles Esqr against it
Col Young Col Tilghman and Col Ward.
An Engrossed Bill from the Lower House by Mr King
and Mr Hudson for the better Administration of Justice in
Testamentary Affairs, granting Administrations, Recovery
of Legacies, securing filial Portions and Distribution of In-
testates Estates thus Endorsed

By the Lower House of Assembly Octr the 24th 1722
Read and amended and past for Engrossing
Sign'd p order M: Jenifer Cl Lo. Ho.

Which Bill being read is Assented to by this House and
thus subscribed (viz.)

By the Upper House of Assembly Oct. the 27th 1722
Read and Assented to by the Upper House of Assembly and

Amendment is made so as to leave it a Doubt whether a Debtor
