Oct^r the 22^d 1720
GentP. As we have hiterto Acted in Concert w^th your
house for the Dispatch of Publick Affairs of the greatest Im-
portance so we think it would have Contributed to the Continu-
ance of that good Understanding and amicable way of Pro-
ceeding that seems necessary to the Welfare of our Country
had you thought fitt to have Communicated to us the Reasons
you mencon in your Message by Col Hynson w^th three Others
of your house That you have Laid down to be given his Lord-
ship for his Assenting to the Act for Officers fees w^ch might
also have been Prevailing Reasons w^th us to Agree to the
Referrence proposed.

However since you think fitt to Conceale your Reasons from
us for your so doing we shall for reasons that Occurr to Our-
selves wave any further Controvercie with you at Present on
that Occasion
