ACTS OF ASSEMBLY.

The text of the Acts listed below, which are printed in this volume, is taken
from Bacon's Laws of Maryland at Large, published in 1765. The titles of all
the Acts passed at each session will be found in the Journals among the proceed-
ings of the last day, except that, at the session of 1718, the Act for disfranchising
Roman Catholics (the Act directing the manner of electing Delegates, etc.), was
signed on the day of its passage (pp. 149, 150).
