506 Assembly Proceedings, April 5-22, 1720.

The Bill for reviving the Act for the Gauge and Tare of
Tobo Hhds &c being read is thus Endorst Viz.

Whereas his Excy the Govr Observes to this House that he
has no Instructions Concerning his Lordships Rents and
therefore desires a Provision may be made in the Bill herein
to be revived with these words (Provided) that in Case his
Lordships Approbation of this Act be not Signifyed by the
29th of September next that then the said 2 shills p hhd to be
Collected after the sd twenty ninth of September shall be paid
to the publick Treasurers of this Province to the use of his
Lordship without any Deductions if he shall afterwards
Signifie his Approbation thereof but if his Dissent be Signi-
fyed thereto then that It shall be applyed to the use of the
Publick in such manner as the Generall Assembly thereafter
shall appoint.

The above bill Sent by Esqr Lloyd to the Lower House who
returns and Says he delivered the same
The Petition of Thos Bordley Esqr & Thos Larkin to his
Excy And this house &c is thus Endorst Viz.

By his Excy the Govr and the Upper House of Assembly
Aprill the 13th 1720
The within Petition being read is recommended to the
Lower house for their Consideration thereof
Signed p Order John Beale Cl Up Ho.

And Sent to the Lowr House by Col Ward who returns and
Says he Delivered the same.
Col Mackall and Mr Wailes from the Lower House deliver
his Excy these three foil Engrost Bills.
A Bill for the naturalizeing Sevll psons &c.
A Bill for the vesting in the Parish of Wm and Mary &c.
A Bill for Reliefe of Samuel Cover &c.
Mr Lloyd and Mr Wailes from the Lower House deliver his
Excy the following Message Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly

Aprill 13th 1720
May It please your Excy and Honours
This House being informed that there are sundry mis-
feazances Committed in the Land Office wherein is Concerned
