Ordered that the said Macnemara appear at the Barr of
this House to answer the same.
The peticon of Benjamin Howard praying Leave to Cut
of the Entail of Sundry Lands therein menconed & to entail
other Lands in the Stead thereof was read and Leave given
to bring in a Bill as Prayed

The Petition of John Beale of Charles Coty on behalf of
his son Richard a Minor was read and Ordered that the
Persons concerned have notice of this Peto & that they may
appear next Sessions if they think fit to answer the same.
Thomas Macnemara Esqr Pursuant to the Order of this
House appears and says that he doth not remember that he
used any refleccons towards the house but that if he did he is
Sorry for it having been drinking Wine. Whereupon he is
excused from that Offence & withdrew.

Yesterdays proceedings are read.
Mr Peter Taylor & Mr Jno Brannock appeare in the House
Bill to enable Benja Howard to sell certain Lands in Ann

arundell County and for the entailing other Lands in Balte-

more County was read the first time and ordered a Second
Reading to morrow morning.

The Petition of Moses Lecompt praying relief was read and
referred to Dorchr County Court for his relief.
On the peticon of Grace Brooke and Robt Brooke to confirm
Land to Wm Gray.
Ordered that Notice be given to Charles Brooke the heir at
Law of Robert Brooke deced to appear next Sessions to Shew
Cause if he thinks fit why a Bill shall not be brought in as
pray'd, The peticon being filed in July 1716 but no process yet
issued.

The Petition of James Phillips was read and referred to the
Comittee of Aggrievances to examine the Allegacons of the
Petr and to make their Report thereon to the house.
The Peticon of Nathaniel Ashcom of Calvert County Gent.
& the Peticon of John Seagger of St Mary's County were read
and referr'd for further Consideration.
