Lib. C. B.

No; 20

Letter from the Justices of Assize relative to the said Con-
viction

p. 44

May it please your Excellency.

Day of April last, one Jane Turner of the said County was
indicted, arraigned, and found Guilty of Felony, and Sentence
of Death was accordingly pronounced against her.
The Principal Evidence against her appeared to us to be an
Accomplice in the Offence, and the Criminal to be a poor silly
Woman. In stay of Execution on the Judgment she pleaded
Pregnancy.

Excellency, with the Advice of this Board, was pleased to
Order a Pardon to issue for the aforesaid Jane Turner, which
was issued accordingly.

day of July next, and Proclamations issued accordingly.
Be it Remembered, that, on Tuesday the Sixth day of June,
