Post Mr Plater requests for favour, I have refered him to
you. here is a Col. Barnes, says he has been of the As-
sembly; thinks of returning. I should be glad to know his
Behaviour & disposition to us, 'tis here said, he is of good
Circumstances, rich. Yr opinion abt his being Recr Genl will
be Acceptable, he speaks very respectable of you, No dis-
course has been material bet. us, I shall hint not to him

the Messrs Hanburys ships they are his Lordps Cashiers,
their Capts must take care, others grumble & expect favours,
Besides Pillage. The New Administrators here are regarded
