64 Assembly Proceedings, April 26-June 3, 1715.

House of Delegates which was read & assented to by this
Board And the honble Philemon Lloyd Esqrs sent to acquaint
the Delegates thereof

The Bill relating to the Standard of English Weights and
measures Read the first & second times.

Mr Parnell & Mr Stone brought up a Bill for the natural-
ization of Thos Harvey

And a Bill for taking special Bail in the Provincial &
County Courts. Read in their House the first & second
times & Endorsed will pass.

Which being Read at this Board the first and second times
and Endorsed will pass were sent to the Delegates by Col
Addison

Mr Fendall & Mr Clayton brought up a Bill for publication
of all Marriages Read the first and second times in their
House & Endorsed will pass

Which was Read at the Board the first & second times by
Especial Order & being so Endorsed will pass with Amend-
ments was sent to the Delegates by Col Addison

Mr Wharfield and Mr Dollahide brought up an Engrossed
Bill for laying an Imposition on Negros and on Several Sorts
of Liquors Imported And also on Irish Servants to prevent
the importing too great a number of Irish Papists into this
Province

Assented to by their House. Which was read & assented
to by this Board and the honble Philemon Lloyd Esqr sent to
acquaint the Delegates thereof

Capt Greenfield & Mr Hudson brought up a Bill to Supply
an Omission in Writing the last Will and Testament of
Raphael Haywood late of St Mary's County Gent deceased,
And for Settling an Estate of Inheritance in Fee simple on
Robert Scott Clerk and Charles Neale Planter the Executors
& Devisees in the said Will named.

Read in their House the first & second times by especial
order & Endorsed will pass

The Board adjourned for two Hours

Post Meridiem

The Council Sate Present as in the morning

Mr Charles Wright & Mr Edward Brown brought up the
Bill for the ordering and regulating the Militia of this Province
