Die Lunae 6o die Augusti 1716

Then the house being Called over members were present
as on Saturday except Majr Harris who by leave departed on
Saturday.
Capt Dent and Mr Hanson are added to the Comittee of
Laws.
An Engrossed Bill for Transferring the paymt of the fines
& forfitures &c: Hereafter to my Lord Baltemore.
An Engrossed Bill, directing the manner of Electing and
Summoning Delegates &c:

An Engrossed Bill Empowering the surviveing Exrs of
Robert Smith Esqr deceased To sell Lands &c.

An Engrossed Bill for reliefe of Peter Sawell.
An Engrossed Bill for an Additional duty of 4ll p poll on
Negroes and Irish Servants &c:

An Engrossed Bill for Confirming a Sale of Land made by
Anthony Ivy and Anne his wife to Thomas and Jno: Davies
were read this 6th of Augt 1716 and Assented to by the Lower
house of Assembly and severally
Signed p order. Tho: Macnemara Cl: Lo: Ho:

Which Engrossed bills except that for summoning and
Electing delegates were Sent to the Upper house by Mr Tyler
Mr Young Mr Turbutt & Mr Brannock
They return and say they delivered them.

Mr Stoddert from the Comee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker
A Supplementary Bill to the Act for Killing Wolves Crows
and Squirrells which was read the first and second times and
by Especial order will pass and so Endorsed.
Sent To the Upper house by Col Hoskins and Capt Codd
They return and say they delivered it.
Mr Willm Whittington Junr has leave of the House to
depart this Sessions of Assembly

Capt Mariartee appears in the Hous.e this day
A Bill for confirming a Sale of. Land made by Anthony Ivy
and Anne his wife to John Alia was read the first and second
time by especial order and will pass and so Endorsed.
Sent to the Upper house by Mr Charles Wright and Mr
Pollard
They return and say they delivered it.
The house Adjournes till one in the afternoon

Then the house being called over the members were pres-
ent as in the morning.
