Exrs Admrs and Assigns doeth Covenant promise and agree
to and with the said ffrancis Lord Guilford his Exrs adminis-
trators and Assignes that he the said Henry Darnall his Ex"
Admrs and Assignes shall and will returne a true and perfect
Rent roll yearly to our Agent for the time being in the said
Province to be Transmitted to us of all the tennants and
Occupiers names, and by what title they hold their Lands,
and further the said Henry Darnall doth for him self his
Exrs Admrs and Assignes Covenant promise and Agree to
and with the said ffrancis Lord Guilford his Exrs Admrs and
Assignes that he the said Henry Darnall his Exrs Adm" and
Assignes shall and will well and truely pay the said rent of
three hundred pounds and also the aforsaid several Tobo rents
at the time and places abovementioned and Expressed. In
witness whereof the partyesto these presents have Interchange-
ably sett their hands and Scales the day and year above
written.

And It was then Ordered that the Scheme proposed by Mr
Charles Carroll be also entered (Viz)

July 22d 1716
May It please your Exncy
I offer to your Consideration in case a Law should be sett
on foot to grant the Lord Propry 6d p hhd in consideration of
acquitting his Tobo rents and alienations the following State
of an account

not but his Lordship will be well Satisfied with the yearly
sume of three hundred pounds for himself
