you that the number of the sd Receivers be reduced to one,
and acquaint you that we know of no other Receivers of his
Majesty's said Revenue but Mr John Rousby & Mr John
Dansey who Act by the Authority of the Government here
being appointed thereto on the Death of George Plater &
George Muschamp Esqr formerly appointed to those offices
by the Crown but since that his Majesty's Surveyour General
has a particular Authority over the officers of the Revenue
here & is now daily Expected His Excellcy will take Care on
his Arrival to Settle this matter with him In the mean time
He has given Orders to the several Clerks of the County
Courts to return him by the first of September next an
Account of all Fines & Forfeitures
Mr Dansey's account of the 3d p hhd for arms & of the fines
& Forfeitures are herewith sent you
