Members of his Lordships Honble Council of State
The Honble John Hall Esqr & Col Wm Whittington now
appearing at the Board took the Oaths appointed by Law to

his Majesty Subscribed the Oath of Abjuration and Declara-
tion commonly called the Test & took the Oath appointed for
his Lordship's Councellours of State
Mr Tyler Col Mackall & Mr Rousby came from the House
of Delegates & acquainted his Excellency that there were a
Sufficient Number of their members met to make up an House
And that Mr Speaker and the House desired to receive his
Excellency's further Commands
The said Delegates took Leave & Departed to their House
His Excellency directed the honble Col Holland & Col
Young to go and acquaint Mr Speaker and the Delegates
that his Excellcy commanded them to attend him in the Council
Chamber.
Col Holland & Col Young return & Say They have deliv-
ered their Message
