28 Assembly Proceedings, April 26-June 3, 1715.

Capt Greenfield and Mr Baker brought up a Bill for uniting
new Port Hundred now part of King and Queen Parish to
Wm & Mary Parish in Charles County & for reuniting the
Same to King & Queen's Parish in S1 Mary's County En-
dorsed Read the first & Second time in their House & will
pass, the said Bill was by especial order read the first & second
times And being so Endorsed will pass Was sent to the House
by Philemon Lloyd Esqr
The Bill for confirming the Deed Poll made by Col James
Smallwood to his son Ledston Smallwood & his Grandson
John Smallwood of a Tract of Land lying in the sd County
near Port Tobo and vesting in them an Estate in Fee Taile
General in the said Tract according to the true Intent &
meaning of the sd Deed, Being again read according to the
Order yesterday
And It being suggested at this Board that there are Heirs
of Col Smallwood Who have not had due notice of this Bill
being now passed

Put to the Question and Resolved that the passing thereof
be referred till due notice is given them
And being so Endorsed was sent to the House by Col
Whittington

Col Ward & ten more brought up the following message
Viz.

By the House of Delegates
May the 6th 1715

May It please your Excellency and Honours
This House agrees with the Proposal made in your message
of this day by Col Coursey, Lt Col Young Col Thos Addison
& Lt Col Richard Tilghman

Signed p order Thos Macnemara Cl Ho Del.

The Board Adjourned till nine of the Clock to morrow
morning

Saturday May the 7th 1715

His Majesty's honble Council Sate Present as yesterday
save Philemon Lloyd Esqr & Lt Col Richard Tilghman who
had leave to go home on Urgent Occasions
The Gentlemen of the Board appointed upon the two
Conferences held yesterday at his Excellency's House deliver
to his Excell their Reports from the 3d Conferences Which

were read & approved of
