200 Assembly Proceedings, April 26-June 3, 1715.

May the 28th 1715

Read in Council the first and second Time by especial
Order and will pass with the Amendments proposed thereto
Signed p Order W Bladen Clk Council.

The same was read again in the House of Delegates and
after the Amendmts made past for ingrossing.
Capt. Harris, Colo Herman and Capt. Greenfield are ex-
cused from any further Attendance this Sessions.
Ordered that Mr Speaker and Eighteen Members be a
House to proceed on any Business during this Sessions.
Colo Thomas Addison from the Honble Council delivers
Mr Speaker a Bill prohibiting the carrying of Liquors to the
Indian Towns, selling any Quantity of strong Liquors to the
Indians, to prevent Differences between them and his Majesty 's
Subjects and to punish the Transporter of any Friend Indian
or Indians out of this Province thus indorsed Viz.

Colo Thomas Greenfield from the Honble Council delivers
Mr Speaker a Bill providing what shall be good Evidence to
prove foreign & other Debts and to prevent vexatious and
unnecessary Suits at Law and pleading Discounts in Bar thus
indorsed Viz.
