Mr Speaker a Bill providing what shall be good Evidence to
prove foreign and other Debts and to prevent vexatious and
unnecessary Suits at Law and pleading Discounts in Bar ;
which was read the first and second Time by especial Order
in the House of Delegates and will pass and so indorsed.
Capt. Thomas Dent from the Committee of Laws delivers
Mr Speaker a Bill against Embezzlement of Wills and Records
in this Province; which was read the first & second Time by
especial Order in the House of Delegates & will pass & so
indorsed.
The said two Bills are sent up to the Honble Council by
Major Woolford & Mr Harrison
They return and say they delivered the Bills.
