This Bill being read it is observed that the Law does not
enjoyn the Clerk of the Council in Assembly to transcribe and
transmit his Journals of Assembly Proceedings into the Sec-
retary's Office in like Manner as the Clerk of the House of
Delegates; which has been always practised according to the
ancient Constitution of the Province and therefore seems to
be an Omission, and is recommended to be amended by
obliging the Clerk of the Council in Assembly so to do with
which Amendments this Law will pass.

ments and past for ingrossing.
