Read in Council and this Bill being a Law that will have it's
Effects this present Year the Clause ascertaining who shall be
deemed Taxables is not thought proper to be added to this
Bill; but if the House think fit a separate Law may be made
therefor if not already provided for

to the Consideration of the House of Delegates.

Ordered the following Ordinance be prepared

Whereas the Inhabitants of Prince George's County have
set forth to this present General Assembly That four of the
Justices of that County Court have burthened that County
with the unnecessary Charge and Expence of keeping a Ferry
over Patuxent River at Mount Calvert and that without the
Consent of the rest of the Justices and Inhabitants thereof to
their great Damage, Oppression and Aggrievance It is there-
fore ordained by the Honble President, Council and Assembly
of this Province and the Authority of the same That the
Justices of Prince George's County Court do not presume upon
any Pretence whatsoever to continue that Ferry at the County
Charge any longer than their November Court this present
year 1711 and that they yield all due Obedience to this
Ordinance as they and every of them will answer the Contrary
to the next General Assembly.

Which being read Ordered it be indorsed

3d November 1711
Read and assented to by the House of Delegates and
Signed p Order Richard Dallam Cl. Ho. Del.

Sent up to the Council for their Assent by Mr Lee
He returns and says he delivered the same
