Lt Col Gale and nine other Members bring up the follow-
ing Address Viz.

To the Honble Presidt & Council

The humble Address and Remonstrances of the Deputys
and Delegates of the Province of Maryland in
Assembly Convened

On Wednesday last we addressed your Honours setting
forth an Aggrievance the Province laboured under wherein
we very modestly & Candidly lay'd the same before your
Honours to be redressed not intending thereby to accriminate
any Person or did, or do we harbour any dishonourable
thoughts of the Gentlemen that are Judges of the Provincial
Court only desiring thereby your Honours to prevent our
Laws being dispensed with & held for Null & Void while in
force, And the mischiefs that may happen by Persons being
Judicial & ministerial officers in any Court.
But instead of having that Aggrievance prevented or receiv-
ing any Satisfactory Answer thereto we find (after long delay)
only a Message evading the Substance of the Aggrievance
under the pretext to Justify & with Intent to continue it
