Laws thereon Read and referred for further Consideration
next Session of Assembly
Ingrossed Bill ascertaining the Height of ffences &ta

Ingrossed Bill for killing Squirrels.
Ingrossed Bill against striking several Sorts of ffish
Ingrossed Bill for Naturalization of Peter Overard and
others all read & severally Indorsed

10th Nov. 1712
Read and assented to by the House of Delegates &
Signed p order Richd Dallam Cl. Ho. Del.

These ten ingrossed Bills sent up to the Honble Council for
their Assent by Mr Lloyd Mr Lockerman Mr Jones and Mr
Hammond.
They return and say they delivered the Bills
Bill for investing Margaret Hollingsworth and Katharine
Wells with an Estate in ffee of certain Lands Read the first
and second Times by especial Order and will pass.
Sent up to the Honble Council by Mr Solomon Wright and
Mr John Whittington
They return and say they delivered the Bill
The Hofible Colo Whittington and John Hall Esq. enter the
House and deliver Mr Speaker the following Message and the
Bill therein mentioned

By the Honble President and Council in Assembly
Nov. 10th 1712

The Honble President and this Board being thoroughly
sensible that many great Disorders are committed by Indians
when in Drink and of the too frequent ill Practice of Persons
selling them great Quantities of Liquors and also that some
evil People have not been wanting to raise utter and spread
sundry false Reports tending to create Misunderstandings
and Jealousies between us and them, we have thought fit
therefore to recommend the Bill herewith sent you for prevent-
