Ordered the said Ordinance be affixed to the End of the
Journal.
The last Bill and Ordinance sent up to the Honble Council
by Mr Sprigg, Mr Broome, Mr James Mackall and Mr Locker-
man.
They return and say they delivered the Bill & Ordinance
The House adjourned till to Morrow Morning Nine O'Clock.

The House met again according to Adjournment Being
called over were all present as yesterday expect Mr Worthing-
ton who is sick.
Read what was done yesterday.
The Address ordered to be prepared yesterday brought in-
to the House, Read, approved, and ordered to be entered as
follows
To the Honble Edward Lloyd Esq. President of her Majes-
ty's Honble Council of Maryland and Commander in Chief
thereof.
We the Deputies and Delegates of the said Province now
in Assembly convened, in most dutiful and humble Manner
crave Leave to lay before your Honour the great Grief and
Affliction that possesses us in finding the Conferrence between
the Members of her Majesty's Honble Council and the Mem-
bers of this House break up without making a final End and
Conclusion of the Matter to them referred in the Article for
limiting the Jurisdiction of the Provincial Court in small Sums,
we cannot impute the Reason thereof to any Thing but a
constant Resolution in her Majesty's Honble Council not to
concur with any Thing that seemingly touches her most Sacred
Majesty's Royal Prerogative (which they are obliged to main-
tain and) which this House never design to retrench or infringe
