522 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1751.

Given at London this 25th day of June 1751 in the first year
of the Dominion of the said Frederick Lord Baltimore Annoq
Domini 1751. Under the hands and Seals of the said Arthur
Onslow and John Sharpe with the Approbation of the said
Frederick Lord Baltimore Testified under his hand & Seal
hereunto Set

His Excellency is pleased to lay before this Board the follow-
ing Order of his Majesty in Council

At the Court at St James's
the 24th of April 1751

Present
The Kings most Excellent Majesty in Council

His Majesty having been Pleased to create His Royal high-
ness Prince George, Prince of Wales, It was thereupon this
day Ordered by his Majesty in Council, that in the Morning
and Evening Prayers, in the Litany and in all other Parts of
the Publick Service, as well as in the Occasional Offices in the
Book of Common Prayer, where the Royal Family is appointed

to be Particularly Prayed for, the following form & Order
should be observed viz.
Their Royal Highnesses George Prince of Wales, The Prin-
cess Dowager of Wales, the Duke, the Princesses, & all the
Royal Family.
And to the End that the same form and Order may be
observed in all his Majestys Plantations in America, His
Majesty doth hereby Order, that the Deputy Governor of the
Province of Maryland for the time being do Cause the same
to be forthwith Published in the Several Parish Churches, and
other Places of Divine Worship within the said Province, and
do take Care that Obedience be paid thereto accordingly.

that the following Proclamation issue notifying the same.

By his Excellency Samuel Ogle Esqr Governor & Com-
mander in Chief in & Over the Province of
Maryland.

Whereas His Most Sacred Majesty in Council bearing date
at St James's the Twenty fourth day of April Anno Domini
