A Proclamation
Whereas the Paper Currency Office in the City of Annapo-
lis was attempted to be broke open on Wednesday Night the
25th of this Instant february in Order therefore that a Discov-
ery may be made of the Persons committing the said Offence
and that such Offenders may be brought to Justice for the
same I do by this my Proclamation publish and declare that if
any Persons concerned in the said Attempt will discover his
her or their Accomplices so that such Person or Persons may
be convicted thereof, the Person making such Discovery shall
have his Lordps Pardon for the same, and also a Reward of
Thirty Pounds to be paid him or her so discovering any of his
her or their Accomplices upon their being convicted for the
same And I do hereby strictly charge and require the Sheriff
of the City of Annapolis to make this my Proclamation pub-
lick in the said City as he will Answer the Contrary at his
Peril Given at the City of Annapolis this 28th day of February
Anno Domini 1746.
