convenient Speed after the end of this Session of Assembly 1
shall be banished and Exported out of this province into
some Island in the West Indies and be there Sold to Serve
Seven years and the mony Arising from the Sale shall be
Applyed toward the Defraying the publick charge of this
Province the Judgment or Sentence of Death afd given
against the said Benjamine Cely in Any wise notwithstanding.
And be it Enacted by the Authority aforesaid by and with
the advice and consent afd That it shall be felony without any
Benefitt of clergy for him the said Benjamin Cely to return
into this Province within the term of Seven years afd to com-
mence from the time of his Exportation.

An Act for the Outlawing of Richard Clark of Ann Arundell
County.

Whereas it appears to this generall Assembly upon oath
that there has been a very wicked and treasonable conspiracy
begun and carryed on by Richard Clark of Ann Arundell
County and his accomplices to Seize upon the Magazine and
upon his Excellency the Governour and overturn her Majesties
Government and to bring the heathen Indians together with
the said Conspirators to Cutt off and Extirpate the Inhabitants
of this Province and for as much as the said Clark flyes from
Justice and Dares not Venture himself upon a faire tryall.


Be it therefore Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Maty
by and with the advice and Consent of her Majties Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority of
the same that unless the said Richard Clark do within twenty
days after the End of this Present Session of Assembly Sur-
render himself to his Excy the Governour or to any one ol
her Majesties honble Councill in ord' to be tryed for his trea-
son afd that then the said Richard Clark by force and virtue
