per hogshead for Supporting the Government and providing
Arms and Ammunition but that He be obliged to all the afore-
said Matters and Things as fully and strongly as if the said
Law were in full force.
And be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid That
every Master of a Ship or Vessell as aforesaid at the time of
his Clearing shall upon oath declare the Quality and Quantity
of his loading And that the Navall Officer by the Governour
aforesaid appointed for the time being shall and is hereby
Impowered to Administer the said Oath and in Case the said
Master shall refuse the said oath or upon Suspicion of having
goods on board for which he hath not clear'd It shall be lawfull
for the said Navall Officer to enter on board any such Shipp
or Vessell and the same to search for any such goods as afore-
said anything in this Act before mencon'd notwithstanding.

An Act prohibiting the Importation of Bread Beer fflower Malt
Wheat other English or Indian Grain or Meale Horses
Mares Colts or ffillys or Tobacco from Pensilvania & the
Territorys thereto belonging.

Be it Enacted by the Queens most excellent Majesty by and
with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority of
the same that from and after the end of this Sessions of
Assembly it shall not be lawfull for any person or persons
whatsoever to import or Cause to be imported from the Prov-
ince of Pensilvania or the Territorys thereto belonging or from
any other Plantation or Province or Colony on this Continent
in America into any part of this province by land or by water
any Quantity or Quantitys of Bread beer fflower Malt Wheat
or other English or Indian Grain or Meale Horse or Horses
Mare or Mares nor any Colt ffilly or Tobacco. (Except Tobacco
from Virginia to this place for loading Shipps) On pain and
