being fin'd to our Lady the Queen her heires and Successors
the Sume of five pounds Sterl whereof one half to the
informer the other half to the Vestry of such parish where
such Ordinary Keeper shall live towards the Defraying the
Parish Charge to be recovered in any Court of Record of this
Province by bill plaint pr Information wherein no Essoyn pro-
teccon or Wager of Law to be allowed.
And Lastly tis hereby Enacted by the Authority aforesaid
by and with the Advice and Consent aforesaid that the Justices
of the Provincial Court and the Justices of the respective
County Courts shall give this Act in Charge to the severall Grand
Jurys and to their severall and respective Constables in their
said Countys to inquire into the breach of this Act and into all
Disorders comitted in the said Ordinarys and present the same
if any be to the severall Courts to be Examin'd and punished
according to Law. This Act to endure for three Years and to
the end of the next Sessions of Assembly which shall first
happen after the end of the said three Years.

On behalf of her Majesty &c I will this be a Law.
Jo : Seymour

An Act ascertaining the Heighth of ffences To prevent the Evill
occasion'd by the Multitude of Horses and restraining Horse
Rangers within this Province.

Be it Enacted by the Queens most excellent Majesty by and
with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority of
the same that all Inclosures by ffences or otherwise within the
Intention of this Act hereafter mencofid shall be tive foot high
and that from and after the first day of May next till the tenth
day of November next and so yearly and every year all Owners
of any Horse Horses, Mares Colts and Geldings shall and are
hereby obliged to keep all such Horse or Horses Mares Colts
or Geldings within good & Sufficient Inclosures ffenced
Grounds or pastures Upon the pains and penaltys hereafter
following
And be it further Enacted by the Authority aforesaid by and
with the Advice and Consent aforesaid that if the Owner or
Owners of any such Horse or Horses Mares Colts or Geldings
