Countrey by their Representatives and that what is now con-
sented unto is in honour to his present Excy our Governour
and not to be drawne into any president for that the publiq is
not lyable to the charge of any duplicates or coppys to be sent
to England for the future tho consented to now.
Which being read was Approovd on by the house and
orderd to be recorded on this Iournall.
Resolvd that the Severall County Courts pay 120' of tobo for
the Seale to the whole body of laws to be sent them.
And four hundred pounds of tobacco for transcribing the
laws made last Sessions And two thousand pounds of
tobacco for the laws made this Sessions to be paid out of the
County leavy's.
Memd that forasmuch as there are Six private Acts and two
other bills for which there has been an Allowance made ouer
& Aboue what was due Therefore Resolvd the same be re-
funded to the Countrey next Sessions.
Ino Hamond Esqr from the honoble Councill enters the
house and delivers Mr Speaker the bill for Apportioning the
publiq leavy. Endorsd.
Read & Assented to by the Councill & house of Dels
Mr Samll Young and Mr Charles Greenberry Order'd to see
the Clerk make such regulations in the lournall as haue been
proposed.
Moovd by the Clerk of this house that forasmuch as Extra-
ordinary Services haue been done by him the last and this
Sessions of Assembly and likewise duplicates to be by him
and at his charge prepared to be sent for England Which was
not heretofore done by any Clerke Therefore prays an Allow-
ance for the same and that the sallary may be Advanced for
the future to support that office
Resolvd the consideration thereof be referrd till next
Assembly.
Orderd the following Addresses be entred on the lournall
vizt
By the Burgesses and delegates of her Majts Province of
Maryland.
To the Queens most Excellt Majesty Most Gracious Sou-
ereigne.
His Excy Ino Seymour Esqr our prsent Governr having had
some Advices of A designe sett on foot by some persons
unknowne to him or us to Address yor Majty & lay downe
some Method for Altering the present constitution of this
Government so happily Established under yor Majtys imediate
Comand by subjecting us to the Gournmt of New York or in
some measure making this dependant on that Was pleasd to
lay the same before us at the opening of this Sessions at Which
