Endors'd Whither it might not be 12d p Gallon by land &

And by the house Endorsd thus this house doe insist upon
the bill as it is drawne exclusive of the Amendment proposd
by the Councill.

Sent up to his Excy and Councill by Mr Francis Dollahyde.

He returns and says he deliverd the same.

Bill declaring the devision of Severall County's

Read 2d time and do pass.

Bill for releife of Credittors in England Against bankrupts.

Read the 2d time with Amendment And Againe Committed
for Amendment with A clause proposed.

Iames Sanders Esqr from the honoble Councill enters the
house and delivers Mr Speaker the following bill.

Bill laying Imposicon of 9d p Gallon on rum

Endorsd read & Agreed to by the Councill and do pass for
engrossing. W Bladen Cl Councill.

Sent up to the Comittee of Laws by Mr Ino Waters to be
Engrost

He returnes & says he deliverd it

Wm Holland Esqr enters the house and brings from the
Councill the following representation

By the Rector Govr & Visitors of the Freeschoole
Sepr 16th 1704

Jt is humbly represented to his Excy the Governour her
Majts honoble privy Councill and the Genll Assembly that
According to Agreement by us made the 3d day of May 1700
With A Comittee of the house of Delegates for A Roome in
the Freeschoole to place the library in from that time to the
third Instant the Sume of Fifty two Founds Sterling for rent
for the said Library roome is due And further Wee do repre-
sent that the other parte of the schoole hath been before that
