Orderd Mr Reynells and Mr Vallentine be againe calld into
the house who appeard And Mr Speaker was pleasd to acquaint
Mr Reynolls what was done and likewise cautioned Mr Val-
lentine to take care to preserve the privileidges of this house
for the future.
Mr Samll Young enters the house and brings wth him Mr
Richd Tones A member for Ann Arrundell County in the
stead of Mr Iohn Hamond.
The Comittee of Elections and priveleidges enter the house
and reports that Mr Richard Iones is duely Elected and returnd
a member to Serve for All County.
Mr Thomas How Mr Iohn Gray orderd to Attend Mr
Tones to see him Sworne.
They returne and say they saw him take the oaths appointed
&c & Signe the test & oath of Abjuration

Moovd by A member of the house that its yet unsetled how

farr the limitts of Calvert County extends it Selfe towards St
Marys Charles and Prince Geoe County's because of the River
of Petuxent and therefore prays that this Assembly determine
how farr the limitts of each place shall extend.
Proposd that each County shall extend it selfe to the Chan-
nell of the said River And that what Shipps shall ride in the
Channell of the said River may be Arrested by either County
that come at them
But it's desired that Calvert County shall Extend it Selfe to
high water mark of the Westerne side of the said River
thereupon.
Put to the question whither the Channell or highwater
marke shall be the bounds or not
Carryd by Majority of Votes that it be According to the
first proposall that the channell shall devide the bounds.
And Resolvd that All Countys devided by rivers take the
same measures to be recomended to the Comittee of laws to
Annex that Resolve to the law for devision of County's
Bill declaring that Grantees of land lyeing within the
Indians land may have Accons of trespass against such persons
as Cutt timber of their land on pretence of having bought it
Read Ist time and Comitted for Amendmt
The peticon of Thomas Cockshute Iohn Colebatch and Mr
Henry Hall Ministers was here read but is
Referrd for consideration of A full house to mor morning
& orderd Mr Young give notice thereof to the peticoners
Bill prohibitting Comrs Sherrifis &ca to plead as Attorneys
Read the 1st time
The house Adjourns till to morrow morning Eight A Clock.
