                 536 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1730.

            

           Lib. M.     to the third Tuesday in November next, and desires the Advice

                 of this Board, to what Time farther to prorogue the same; who

                 are of Opinion that the third Tuesday in March next, being

                 the sixteenth Day of the same Month is the most Convenient

                 Time; to which Time his Excellency is pleased to order that

                 the same be prorogued, and that Proclamations issue accord

                 ingly; which issued in the usual Manner.

                 ernor in the City of Annapolis on Thursday the 29t5 Day of

                 October in the sixteenth year of his Lordships the Lord Pro

                 prietarys Dominion Annoq Dni 1730

                Philemon Lloyd Esqr   Benjamin Tasker Esqr

                Col Richard Tilghman  Philip Lee Esqr

                          Members of his Lordps honble Council

                   Ordered that the Petition of Mr John Brannock of Dor

                 chester County preferred to this Board on the fifth day of

                 June last against Henry Ennals & Others Justices of the sd

                 County be dismissed

                   Upon Representation of Philip Lee Esqr to this Board, that

                 a Bond be taken by him as Naval Officer of Patowmack, from

                 a Certain John Watts Master and Owner of a Ship trading

                 into this Province, for the Payment of Several Dutys; which

                 Dutys the sd Watts, claiming the Benefit of a Resident of this

                 Province, refuses to pay; and upon producing some Deposi

                 tions taken in Relation to the Residency of the sd Watts in

                 this Province, together with the Opinion of the Attorney

                 General that the sd Watts cannot claim the Benefit of a

                 Resident therein; It is the Opinion of this Board that the

                 said Bond be put in suit

                   Ordered that the Bond of John Watts be delivered by

                 Philip Lee Esqr to the Attorney General; and it is likewise

                 Ordered that the Attorney General put the same in suit.

                 February in the sixteenth Year of His Lordships the Ld Pro
